Indie Soul Balladeer Dechen Hawk creates music that ranges from beautiful ballads to gritty throwback funk and soul. He believes conscious music has the power to heal and transform humanity for the better.
Friday, July 18th: Zivanai Masango 8 - 10pm
Zivanai is an award-winning music artist, audio engineer, and producer, as well as a much sought after music educator. Born in Harare into an extended family of master musicians, he was immersed in diverse music traditions and performances from an early age.
Friday, July 25th: DECHEN HAWK 8 - 10pm
DZIRAE GOLD is a Denver based artist with rich, sultry vocals often compared to "liquid gold". Her band's sound can be compared to a modern Memphis Soul style with a pop fusion and classic jazz influence, which inspired the name "DZIRAE GOLD" - fresh, sexy, and timeless.
